estimateSpeciation Estimates the speciation rate assuming a constant-rate, pure-birth model.

Usage

estimateSpeciation(phy)

Arguments

phy

A phylo object, following terminology from package ape in which function will operate.

Value

A numeric with the estimated speciation rate.
