Matheus Januario

Hello and welcome to my website. I am a eco-evolutionary biologist investigating biodiversity dynamics and the evolution of complexity. In order to do that, I weave together diverse strands of evidence—fossils, global wildlife surveys, and the tree of life—using cutting-edge tools from ecology, evolution, and data science.

I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for Global Change Biology, and affiliated to the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and the Museum of Paleontology of the University of Michigan.
